Farmers markets are a great way to enjoy the outdoors and spend some quality time with your family and friends. If you have not visited farmers markets in Rhode Island before, we have put together a list of some of our favorites that are an absolute must to add to your bucket list. Check them out:

  • Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market. This market is made up of over 80 different local vendors with a huge variety of products, including veggies, apples, cranberries and other produce. Not to mention, they have a selection of cheeses, breads, soaps, cosmetics, candles, preserves and salsas, candy, chocolate, tea and more! At this market, some favorite local brands such as Rhody Fresh, Rhode Island Spa Products and Narragansett Creamery are featured.
  • Hope Street Farmers Market. This market is completely farmer run, created and managed by some of the best farmers and foot artisans within Rhode Island. Here, you will find fruits and veggies, flowers, cheeses and breads, pasture-raised meats, eggs and seafood. You can also enjoy some live music, knife sharpening and enjoy bicycle valet!
  • South Kingstown Farmers Market. South Kingstown, voted 101 best farmers markets in America in 2016, has been around since 1982 and is the longest running farmers market in Rhode Island. Here, you can learn more about sustainable farming and agriculture, enjoy some shopping, the live musicians, fresh cold-pressed juice and coffee, and more!
  • Mt. Hope Farm. Located in the heart of Bristol, Rhode Island, this is a historic site and farm that is owned and operated by the Mount Hope Trust in Bristol. This farmers market is a year-round market that offers veggies, fruits, meats, eggs, cheeses, seafood, honey and more! You can also find some of your favorite soap and lotions, cleaning products, local crafts and more!
